The Heavy Traveller

Thursday, October 5th, 2006

As I walk through the rough road.

I stumble and crawl with weary thought.

While carrying my world of heavy load,

I force my way into the fierce drought.

They say it’s okay to feel this way,

When I’m travelling this winding  path.

I take the words that they happily say.

Adding the load as I walk to my death.

I cry and scream to loosen my burden,

But I loose my precious strength instead.

As they watch with a face so frighten,

They wish that I’m better to be dead.

The time has come when I see the light.

Knowing that my load will soon be demise.

But they surround me to get a better sight.

Blocking my path to my eternal paradise.

She

She smiles at the streaming rays

She sings at the words He says

She’s living the only one way.

That’s how she lives each day

I guess she’s the one who cares

I think she’s the one who sees

The needs of her only way

The way for her everyday

She’s singing the only way

She’s dancing the painful way

She weeps for the truthful way

As she walks the only way

She sees what is true

As she sings the blue

She hears the sound

From the lost to be found
