I search high and low,

But I see no soul.

Is my soul in the kitchen?

I remember putting it on the table.

Or is it in the fridge?

But I smell no soul.

Where are you my soul?

Answer me my poor soul.

Are you in the bathroom?

Washing yourself again.

But I feel no soul.

Are you playing hide & seek my soul?

I give up, please come out now my soul.

Stop playing my soul and show yourself.

I know you are hiding somewhere

Or did I misplace you somewhere.

But I cannot remember my soul.

Which I know I need to ask more and more,

Once I start asking the wrong question.
